Rebecca - Baseball season begins

First practise for Rebecca. Coach Paul will be leading the team, and Dad will be assisting Coach. This year, Becca progresses from T-ball (where the kids hitthe ball while it sits on a stand) to Rookie. This league is where the kids are using machine pitch.

The balls come in fast, but are usually right on track. Becca got three hits in her first practise using machine pitch! Yippee for Becca!

See-Saw Completion....finally!

The kids are happy, it's done!
Dad's thumbs are a little sore, but the kids are enjoying themselves. Yeah!

See-saw stage 2

OK, half-way (or longer?) into the project. The girls interest in waining, but Dad continues on, in the hopes that amongst the baseball practise, lunch, and getting a haircut, that we can get the project finished before nightfall!

See-saw assembly - stage 1

This was our Saturday project. To assemble the see-saw airplane that had been sitting, boxed, in the garage for the last 6 months. The kids decided to film in stages, so we could see the task ahead (with the many pieces laying on the floor), then part-assembled, then hopefully fully assembled, with Dad's insanity still intact.

The weather has improved dramatically from the winter months, and the sun is shining. We decided to get out and clean all the decks, place the outside furniture around the three decks, and begin enjoying the outdoors again.

Sunset

Another sunset shot to enjoy.

Sunset

The weather has begun to warm up and all the snow is melting. There are clear cut differences felt here, as the seasons change. This weekend we have been enjoying amazing sunshine, BBQ's on the deck, and last night, a glorious sunset.

See-Saw Fun

This was our Saturday project this week. The airplane see-saw that has been sitting in a box in our garage for the last 6 months, is finally DONE!
Lots of fun for the kids (and the adults too!)
