The first season the kids played baseball (2007) was a kind of catch-up season. Having never played before (other than a bit of catch in England) the kids worked hard to learn the rules, get into motion, and try to keep up with the others.
This season was quite the opposite for Samuel. His coaches practised constantly with the kids and Samuel's skill level rocketed. In this game, Samuel hit a home run, knocking the ball out of the field! This homer won the game.
What a cool sight, to see your son beseiged by his team mates, cheering his name! Samuel was awarded the game ball which his team mates and coaches signed. This was one of Dad's baseball highlights, and I'm sure Samuel's also!
